The main computer chasis is mounted inside the enclosure and all the appropriate wires are run from the computer to the main service panel. This allows the computer to monitor all the electric usage in the home and to manipulate the major consumers of electricity in your home (e.g. air conditioners, water heaters etc.). |
| CT's or current transformers are mounted on the main feeders of power to your home and are then connected to the computer's central processing unit. That way the computer knows exactly how much power your home is using at any given moment, right down to the light bulb that comes on when you open your refrigerator. |

Then all appropriate connections are made to the service panel, grounding power supply neutral connections. These are made through a 1" seal tight connector. All connections are then made to the computer and its relays. Current transformers, power supply, grounding, relay harnesses and relay connection. |
| Finally, the most important programming of the computer with our hand held programmer. This allows us to custom program the computer to the specific electrical rate you will use and also to customize programming to best fit your lifestyle. The computer is capable of being programmed for many different rate structures, so if in the future your utility company comes out with a better rate structure, it can easily be reprogrammed to take advantage of it. |

The completed installation. The enclosure has locking capability and has a hinged door for easy access. Inside the door is a permanent copy of the one page owner's manual. This manual contains simple, easy to understand, instructions on how to operate, set and get the most out of your new computer. On the relay plate we put estimates of what we think your home should be able to run at and an area for you to write down the actual settings. The black knob is how you set the computer. It has numbers ranging from 1 to 15 around it and you just line up the white line on the knob with the appropriate number for your home and it is set! How easy is that! You will also notice our phone number is located in three different areas on the system.
